Johan Burger
​​​Johan was already besotted with nature from a very young age. Born and bred in Namibia, a lot of his childhood was spent in the bush and especially in the remote areas of Damaraland and Kaokoland. Always trying to catch creepy crawlies and gaining knowledge in playful manner, has resulted in an immense knowledge of Namibia, it's flora and fauna, people and geography.

Spending some years in the policeforce and helping his father in the transport industry he knew that was not what he wanted in life. After helping out a friend who needed an extra hand on a tour, he had found his passion. Over the years, he has guided many trips, from large group tours to small individual tours, always keen to share his knowledge. His many Dutch clients has resulted that he speaks Dutch fluently.

Johan's other passion is fishing. After being a member of the Namibian National Team he became a fishing guide and in the rainy summer months, when safari tourism is low, he's often found on the beach with clients fishing for sharks.
Joyce Verschuur​
​​Joyce has always been an enthusiastic explorer to the furthest corners of the world. Travelling has now become her profession whilst exploring remains second nature. From her 1st meeting with Africa in 1995, whilst on a family holiday, she fell in love with the continent. Over the years her travels included many remote and secluded areas in Southern and Eastern Africa. Countries which she explored both by roughing it in a robust 4x4 with rooftop tent and in style in luxury hotels.
After completing the hotel management school, she worked for many years as hospitality entrepreneur in Great Britain, Australia, South Africa and the last seven years as head chef at her own restaurant in The Netherlands. After selling the restaurant she followed her heart and joined Johan in Namibia.

Starting her own safari company in Namibia was a logical step as she can now combine all her passions: cooking great food in the African bush, showing great hospitality to the guests and practise her other hobby: wildlife photography.

Johan has been a freelance safari guide ince 1995 and ran his own company Angling Tours Namibia. With Joyce coming on board in 2012 they decided to expand this company and run their own safaris.
